Piercing aftercare
Basic rules
For trouble-free healing

Just follow 3 rules:
Keep the piercing CLEAN, DRY and DO NOT touch it unnecessarily.
A clean piercing does not mean that we clean it whenever possible, that would lead to irritation. Everything in moderation, extremely frequent cleaning is not good for a piercing, but even if a person does not clean it at all. Cleaning more often does not mean that the piercing will heal faster.
Do not use peroxide, alcohol, tea tree to clean the piercing, nor are most of the aftercare sprays intended for piercings suitable.
A sterile saline solution (e.g. Neilmed, blue Easy piercing) or clean water is suitable. Appropriate care can be purchased from my studio.
The healing process
Shortly after application: swelling, bruising, minor bleeding
During healing: redness around the piercing, oozing tissue fluid (light yellowish fluid, not pus). The tissue fluid will form yellow crystals and crusts around the injection - do not tear them off, gently soak them with a suitable preparation.
After the swelling subsides, approx. 2-8 weeks depending on the type of piercing - shortening of the piercing.
When problems occur
In the case of a problem that is not acute, just make an appointment in the reservation system for a check.
In case of an acute problem, contact me immediately, preferably with an attached photo on Instagram. We will individually arrange the earliest possible inspection and possible replacement of the jewelry.
A piercing can become problematic if you scratch it, put make-up, soap, etc. in it, sleep on it, do not clean it regularly, etc.
